Description
This cottage, located between Vine Cottage and Nundle, dates back to the 17th century and has been modified over time. It is constructed from cut and squared Ham stone with ashlar dressing, topped by a double Roman clay tiled roof that has an abutment to the south and a plain gable to the north. A stone chimney stack is present. The cottage is two storeys high and features two bays with irregular window arrangements. The windows include hollow-chamfered mullions, with a 4-light window in a recess at the upper centre, a 3-light window in a recess with a label above in the lower bay 2, and a 2-light window without a recess or label in the lower bay 1. There is a boarded door set in a plain recess between the bays, which is accessed by three steps. The interior has not been seen.
