Description

The base of a former village cross is located about 15 metres west of the Manor Arms Inn in North Perrott. This medieval structure, possibly dating from the 14th century, is made of Ham stone. It features a square base that measures approximately 850 millimetres wide and 500 millimetres high. There are signs of a former broach on the north-east corner, and the top has a mortice that is about 400 millimetres square. Below ground, there are traces of an octagonal step.
