Description

The listed buildings are a pair of houses located at the end of a row, dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. They are constructed from local stone rubble, with a rendered and colourwashed front and red brick dressings to the east gable. The roof is clay tiled with coped gables, and the property has brick end chimney stacks. The layout comprises a 2-unit plan, with a 2-storey rear outshut.

The exterior presents a symmetrical facade of three bays. The ground and first floors of the outer bays have 16-pane sash windows set in plain openings with exposed boxes. The first-floor of the second bay and the second-floor bays 1 and 2 have 12-pane sash windows. The third bay on the second floor has plain windows. The central entrances each feature a 6-panel door within a recessed surround, topped by a moulded architrave and a flat timber hood supported by console brackets. There are several blocked openings in the east gable, and a rear outshut is present.

The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
