Description

Tudor Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered and restored in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble and features external stepped stone stacks at the gable ends, topped with an asbestos slate roof. The building likely started as a two-cell structure and is two storeys high with two bays. The early 19th-century windows are three-light leaded casements, with a small glazed opening in the center of the ground floor. The entrance is now located on the rear elevation, accessed through two gabled 20th-century porches with modern doors. Inside, the cottage has chamfered beams with run-out stops and four pairs of principal rafters with collar beams.
