Description
Tumbleweed is a 17th-century cottage located in Stogumber, constructed from red sandstone random rubble. It features a moulded plinth and a thatched roof, with a stone stack on the right gable end and a brick left gable end adjacent to the entrance. The building has a plan consisting of three cells and a cross passage, with two storeys and four bays. The windows are two- and three-light casements, and there are eyebrow dormers in the two end bays on the left. The entrance, located in the second bay on the right, has a small glazed opening to the right and is accessed through a 20th-century studded plank door with a rectangular light above. Access to Tumbleweed is via a short flight of stone steps on the right return. The interior has not been viewed.
