Description
Manor Cottage is a cottage that dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century and was extended in the early 20th century. It features a colour-washed random rubble exterior and a plain tile roof with a stone stack on the right topped with a trick top. The building consists of two cells and a cross passage, with an extension at the rear. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The first floor has three light ovolo moulded mullion windows, with the left window containing some 17th-century glass. On the ground floor, there is a four-light metal casement window to the left of a late 20th-century glazed porch, which has a tiled gable roof and a weatherboarded gable. The entrance features a four-centred arch doorcase. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams with stops, and a chamfered bressumer on the left with deep bays flanking a modern grate.
