Description

The Old Manor is a house with features dating back to around 1550, significantly altered in the 17th century and the mid-20th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with squared quoins, and has a pantile roof with coped verges and chimneys. The building is rectangular in plan. The front facade has two doorways in the centre, both with depressed arch surrounds and ovolo chamfers. The wider of the two doorways has floral carvings in the spandrels, and both contain gothicised plank front doors. Single three-light ovolo moulded mullion windows are positioned on each side of the facade. The first floor has matching windows. The right-hand return features a two-light mullion window high up in the gable, which is now blocked.
