Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, constructed of rubble with squared quoins. It features a pantile roof with coped gables and brick and rubble end stacks. The facade is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys and two bays. The central doorway is framed by a square-headed architrave and has a 20th-century door. Flanking the doorway are two-light chamfered stone mullion windows with ogee-headed casement infills, and the first floor has similar windows. There are relieving arches above the openings, and a single light chamfered mullion window is located on the left return.
