Description

The Horseshoe Inn is a public house that was originally two cottages, dating from around 1800. The building is constructed of rubble with squared quoins. It features a pantile roof on the right side and a slate roof on the left, both with coped verges and brick and rubble stacks. Each cottage has a square-headed stone doorcase, with one window on either side. The windows are 12-light sashes set in flush frames, and there is matching window placement on the first floor. The building also has a two-window return facing Forum Lane.
