Description

Weirside is a house dating from around 1650. It is constructed of random rubble with squared quoins and has rubble end stacks topped by an asbestos slate roof. The house features a symmetrical front with a central doorway that has a square-headed freestone surround. On either side of the doorway are sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has corresponding fenestration, featuring 3-light chamfered mullion windows beneath individual squared dripmoulds. There are also mullion windows with dripmoulds on each gable return. To the left of the facade, there is a later outshut.
