Description
Hainbury Mill Farm House, with a wing wall and the ruins of a mill, is an early 19th-century mill house or farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a plain clay tiled roof with coped gables, along with brick chimney stacks at both ends and in the center. The building is two stories tall and has three bays. The central front doorway has a fanlight set in a semi-circular arched opening. There are 12-pane sash windows with projecting brick cills and flat gauged brick arches, except for the window above the doorway, which has a semi-circular head. On the north gable, there is a small casement window, and at attic level, there is a blocked doorway. The stone walls of the roofless and ruined mill are attached to the house by the brick wing wall.
