Detached cottage. C18 probably. Ham stone near-ashlar; thatched roof with coped south gable; plain to north; stone slab chimney stacks. 'L'-plan, 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays. Plinth; 3-light plain mullioned windows in shallow recesses with recessed architraves, with central iron-framed opening light and square leaded panes; between bays 2 and 3 a boarded door in heavy frame, with C20 hipped shingled hood on timber brackets. Small leaded window high in north gable, Interior not seen. Extending from north-west corner of house, a low stone wall with wrought-iron arrowhead railings, having diagonal braces to standards capped with cast iron finials, with latching gates opposite door, adding to setting of the house.
