Description
Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed and squared rubble with dressed stone quoins. It features a double Roman tile roof with coped verges on kneelers and 20th-century brick stacks. The building has a shallow U-shaped frontage and a lateral fireplace plan with a front stair-turret. It stands two storeys high with attics, displaying three front-facing gables that are coped. The facade is divided into three bays, with the outer bays slightly projecting. Each section has one window per floor, consisting of 2, 3, and 4-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned windows, mostly adorned with stopped labels, and some featuring cornice drips. There are small blank openings on two gable faces. The central door opening contains a four-panelled door and is sheltered by a pent-roofed porch that includes a mullioned window. Inside, there is a large winder staircase located in the front-facing gable and a fireplace flanked by pilasters. A two-storey, single bay wing set back to the left return is noted but is not of special interest.
