Description
Woodlands House is an early 19th-century house located on Woodlands Road in West Pennard. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring a moulded stone cornice and a brick parapet with coping. The hipped slate roof is complemented by two large brick stacks. The house is square in plan with a symmetrical frontage, consisting of two storeys and three bays, each with 16-pane sash windows. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door topped by a transom light with glazing bars, and is adorned with a triangular stone pediment supported by brackets. A flight of stone steps leads up to the door. To the right of the main frontage, there is a section of tall brick walling with stone coping and a semi-circular head door opening.
