Description
Priory Cottage is a 17th-century house located in West Pennard, built from coursed and squared rubble with a double Roman tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring two bays. On the left side, there are three-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows, with the first-floor window retaining its original iron casement. To the right of the first floor is a 20th-century three-light metal casement window. The left side of the attic has a gabled dormer with a coped verge, and there is some ashlar present. Below a label, there is a two-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned window. The door opening to the right contains a 20th-century door with a concrete hood. The house to the right, previously known as Willow Cottage and now called Priory Barn, was originally part of the property but has been significantly altered and is not of special interest.
