Description

No. 28 Clarcombe is a house and former shop, dating from the late 18th century. The building features rough-cast walls and a double Roman tile roof, with brick stacks at each end. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are 16-pane flush mounted sash windows, except for a shallow 28-light segmental bow window on the right side of the ground floor, which has a fluted fascia board above. The central door opening contains a five-panelled early 19th-century door, with the top two panels being glazed.
