Description
Myrtle House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It has a rendered exterior that is scribed to resemble ashlar, with end pilasters and a pantile roof supported by one brick stack. The building is two storeys high and features three bays with flush mounted 16-pane sash windows. To the left of the ground floor, there is a 6-light shop window flanked by broad pilasters and topped with a moulded cornice. The door opening is nearly central and contains a 6-panelled door, with the bottom two panels covered by a single sheet of wood at the time of re-survey, while the top two panels are glazed. The door is framed by a segmental headed wooden surround that has an emphasised keystone. Additionally, there is a pair of broad plank doors to the left on the ground floor.
