Description

Leyland House is a house dating from the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior that is scribed to resemble ashlar stone, with end pilasters and a parapet featuring coping. The roof is covered with double Roman tiles and has two brick stacks, one of which rises from the parapet on the right side. The house is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys and three bays. It features 20th-century 12-pane sash windows that are highlighted by quarry-faced keystones. The central door opening has a reeded semi-circular headed stone surround with an emphasised keystone and imposts, and it contains a 20th-century six-panelled door with a fanlight above.
