Description

Draycott Farm House is a late 18th-century farmhouse with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of local cut squared and coursed stone, with a facade of Ham stone ashlar, and some brickwork. The roof is of plain clay tiles with coped gables, and there are brick end stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, arranged in three bays. The central entrance has a 6-panel door with two glazed panels, and a semi-circular fanlight above, sheltered by a 19th-century wooden lattice porch with a zinc-clad bell-hip roof. There are 6-pane sash windows, with a 4-pane window above the entrance door, set in plain openings with flat, keystoned arches. Stone and brick additions are present on the East side and rear. Internally, the farmhouse retains several late 18th-century features, including doors, cupboards, and a staircase.
