Description
This is a house located at 119 Wembdon Road in Bridgwater, dating from the early 18th century. It features painted roughcast walls and a pantile roof with a brick stack at the rear gable end. The house has a two-unit plan and includes a single-storey rear extension. It stands two storeys high and has a one-window range. The front has 20th-century three-light casement windows, with the ground floor window having originally been a door. There are various 20th-century windows on the left side. A painted terracotta guilloche frieze runs along the cill level on the front and left return. Inside, there is a diagonal corner fireplace in the front right, although the exterior stack has been removed, indicating the house's early 18th-century origins.
