The Gardener'S Cottage About 10 Metres West Of The Court, With Pump 5 Metres To West

The Gardener's Cottage, located about 10 metres west of The Court, is a late 18th-century cottage built from local lias stone that has been cut and squared. It features a hipped roof made of clay tiles and has a stone chimney stack. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of one bay. On the south side, there are two Gothic traceried casement windows, one on each level, along with a matching single window on the lower east side. The west elevation has horizontal-bar casement windows and a boarded door, while the north-west corner shows the bolection moulded jamb of a former doorway. Although the interior has not been seen, there is a garden pump located 5 metres to the west, which has a cast iron pillar, spout, and handle. The cottage forms a good grouping with The Court.
