Description

Harpitts Withy is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, and features a clay pantiled roof with stepped coped gables. The house has two storeys and a three-bay south elevation, which includes 16-pane sash windows set in plain openings with voussoired flat arch heads. The central door is accompanied by an open porch made of stone, rustic timber, and plain clay tiles. There are single-storey extensions at the northwest corner and rear of the house, as well as outbuildings at the northeast corner. The interior has not been seen.
