Description

Classeys is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of local lias stone, squared and cut, with a rendered facade above a Ham stone plinth. The roof is of Welsh slate, and there is a brick chimney stack. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It features sash windows with 16 panes in simple surrounds. The lower bay to the left has a part-glazed door set within a plain opening, sheltered by an open timber porch with a lead flat roof, designed without classical detailing. A lean-to extension abuts the north gable at the rear, behind a plain wall. The interior has not been inspected.
