Description
Nos. 14-16 Goulds Ground is an altered 18th-century building that stands 2½ storeys high, constructed of rubble with pantile roofs and some stone slates at the base. No. 14 features a gabled crosswing on the left, which includes one original glazing bar sash window set in an outer ogee moulded surround. The windows below and in the three-storey extension to the right are modern, consisting of a single range of glazing bar sashes with block dressings and a doorway. Nos. 15 and 16 have a central small pane two-light dormer. On the first floor, there are three windows with timber lintels; two of these are two-light windows that are part casements and part sashes with small panes, featuring a modern mullion. The ground floor has two windows, which are paired glazing bar sashes to the left. The central paired doorways are topped with a moulded stone hood supported by cut brackets.
