Description

Mendip House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of The Square in Axbridge. The building is rendered and features a pantile roof that is hipped to the right. It has two storeys with two bays, and the windows are 16-pane sash windows that are flush mounted. The door opening is on the left and contains a 20th-century panelled door. The house has a return to Moorland Street, which consists of three bays with 12-pane flush mounted sash windows. The property is primarily noted for its group value within the area.
