Description

No 28 High Street is a house and shop, now used as a house, dating from the early 19th century, with an earlier core. The building is roughcast with a pantile roof and a brick chimney stack. It has two storeys and three bays. On the first floor, there are 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor features a 16-pane sash window and a 20th-century casement window. There are two door openings: to the left is a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, and to the right is a plank door. The building is primarily noted for its group value.
