Description

This is a late 18th-century house on the south side of High Street. It is rendered, with a pantile roof and a brick stack. The right-hand verge adjoins number 25 High Street. The house has two storeys and two bays, featuring sash windows with marginal lights and stepped voussoirs. A door opening is located virtually in the centre, with a six-panelled door, the top two panels glazed. Pilasters flank the door and continue upwards, supporting a shallow open pediment. The building’s core is likely medieval.
