Description

Nos 14 and 16 High Street is a house and shop, likely originally a single residence, with origins in the 17th century and alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is roughcast with a pantile roof and features wide eaves and a brick stack. It has two storeys and two bays, with flush mounted 16-pane sash windows that have stepped voussoirs. A sash window has been removed from the left side of the ground floor and replaced with a shop window. There are two door openings at the centre, each with 20th-century panelled doors. The building is reputed to be timber framed.
