Description

A house and shop, dating from the 17th century with 19th and 20th century alterations. The building is constructed of random rubble, with the left side painted, and some roughcast to the right. It has a double Roman tile roof and a brick stack. The property is single-storey with an attic, and consists of one and two bays. It has 3-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. A gabled dormer contains a window on the left side, while two flat-roofed half-dormers contain windows on the right side. A 2-light casement window is present on the ground floor to the right. A 20th-century shop front is on the ground floor of the left bay, leading to a three-quarter glazed door. A studded plank door is located in the Barnards section, between the two bays on the right, and a further 4-panelled door is positioned to the right.
