Description
The Manor Hotel's former stable block, located 10 meters northwest of the hotel, is an 18th-century building that has been converted into a banqueting suite. It is constructed of red brick, which has been extensively patched, and features a hipped plain clay tile roof. The stable block is two stories high and consists of five bays, with the central bay slightly offset. This central bay has a large elliptical gauged brick arched opening, complete with stone imposts and keystones, which is now filled with modern doors and windows.
The adjacent bays on either side each have wide arches filled with 20th-century brickwork and anodised aluminium windows. The outer bays contain tall two-light stone hollow-chamfer mullioned windows, with at least one of the left-hand windows being a late 20th-century replacement. Above all but the central bay are matching two-light windows, while the central bay features a semi-circular arched window with a plain surround, keystone, and imposts that extend into a band course. The sash window has twenty-four panes and a plain arched deadlight above it.
A stone pediment crowns the central bay, which includes a brick panel that houses a small segmental loft window. A simple weathervane with an arrow is positioned above the structure. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
