Description

Laurel Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of Flemish bond brickwork. It has a double-span roof covered in double Roman tiles and pantiles, with four brick stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, and originally had three bays. It features 2-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, set within brick voussoirs. A virtually central door opening is accessed by a 4-panelled door, the top two panels being glazed, and a later flat wooden hood with glazed side-panels on a brick base. A single-story outshut is located to the right, with a pantile roof. A brick forecourt wall featuring a central wrought-iron gate fronts the property.
