Description
Glenrosa is a house dating from the early 19th century, with later embellishments from the late 19th century. It features a roughcast exterior that is scribed to resemble ashlar stone. The building has end pilasters and coped verges with kneelers designed as foliated consoles. The roof is slate, and there are brick stacks at the ends, with the right stack capped in stone.
The house is two storeys high and has two bays, with 16-pane sash windows that have stepped voussoirs. To the right, there is a door opening that contains a six-panelled door, with the top four panels being glazed. Above the door is a flat wooden hood supported by a moulded cornice on two slender turned columns, with two half-columns attached to the wall. The edge of the hood is surrounded by low decorative cast-iron balustrading.
