Description
No. 21 High Street is a cottage in a row, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in English garden wall bond and is colourwashed, topped with a plain clay tiled roof and featuring a brick chimney stack. The building stands two storeys high and has two bays. It has 16-pane sash windows that are set under false keystoned lintels. Between the bays is a 6-flush-panel door, which is framed by an architrave and topped with a moulded flat stone hood supported by shaped brackets. The interior has not been seen. This cottage is part of a group of three terrace houses that have seen little alteration and were built in or soon after 1820.
