Description
The Old Vicarage is a semi-detached house that was largely rebuilt in 1776, with a significant extension added in 1852. It is constructed of ham stone coursed rubble and ashlar, topped with hipped Welsh slate roofs and featuring brick chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and its east elevation consists of five bays, where the first two bays project and the third bay is slightly recessed. The windows are sash style with 12 panes in plain openings, while the fourth bay is blank. There is a pair of doors with toplights in the third bay, set beneath a flat stone hood supported by brackets. The north side has three bays with later 19th-century sash windows, and the third bay features a two-storey angled bay window. The interior has not been seen. Attached to the west side is Holm Oak, which likely incorporates much of the earlier work.
