Description
This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located about 10 meters south of Pye Corner Farmhouse. It is constructed from roughly cut and squared Ham stone, with ashlar quoins, and features a plain clay tiled roof that has coped gables with gabletted finials. The barn is a single storey structure with a six-bay roof. The north elevation includes a tall elliptically arched doorway near the center, which has a pair of divided doors. On either side of the doorway are segmental arched windows with high cills, which are boarded. There is a lean-to extension on the east gable and a monopitch clay pantile roofed extension on the west. The interior has not been seen. This barn is included mainly for its group value with Pye Corner Farmhouse.
