Description

BRADFORD-ON-TONE CP ST12SE HELE 5/15 Hele Hill House II House. Early-mid C19, Squared and coursed local stone, flat string course band,patterned clay tile roof extended slightly over end 4 bays right, independently roofed addition left, decorative ridge tiles, stone stacks right gable end and between second and third bays left where eaves extended. L-plan facing south. Two storeys, 1:1:4 bays; end bay left lower, 2-storey addition with wooden 2-light arched casement, otherwise 12-pane sash windows, French windows second bay right, single storey verandah, patterned clay tile roof with inserted glazed sections fronting 4 bays right,main entrance right return gable end, ornate gabled cast iron porch. This was probably built at the same time as Hele Mount to north (not included in this list) for another member of the Easton family.
