Description

Bridge House is a house dating from around 1830. It has a roughcast exterior over rubble and a slate roof with overhanging eaves featuring bargeboards at the ends and boxed eaves on the front. The building has brick stacks at the gable ends and is designed in a double pile format. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, with 12-pane sash windows that have moulded architraves. The central entrance features a half-glazed door and is adorned with a wrought iron trelliswork porch topped with a lead canopy. At the rear, the roof slopes down in a catslide style, and there is a small 20th-century window on the left return above a 20th-century garage addition, which is not included in the listing.
