Description
Bradford's House and the adjoining house are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century. They are rendered and feature a double roman tile roof. Each house has three storeys and three windows, connected by two-storey wings. The northern house has two windows, while the southern house has one window. The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes, except for the second floor, which has 6-pane sashes. Each house has an off-centre doorcase with pilasters, a fanlight, and a hood, along with a cornice and coped parapets that rise as returns to the stacks. The southern house, known as Bradford's House, has a canted mid-19th century bay on the ground floor and a pivoted lamp at the doorcase. There are single-storey wings at each end, with the northern wing extending to the rear past a pointed garden gate to a half-hipped stable block.
