Description
The Engine House is a fire engine house built in 1837. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble and features a lean-to corrugated iron roof. The building is single-storey and has one bay with a 19th-century wooden door. An inscription in an oval niche reads "Engine House 1837." This building served as the home of the Milverton fire engine until the First World War and is primarily noted for its historic interest.
