Description
Lottisham House is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century, with a late 19th-century shopfront. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble and features a slate roof with overhanging eaves, irregularly spaced decorative wooden sprockets, decorative ridge tiles, and brick stacks on the left and right. The building is three storeys high and has three bays. The first and second floors have 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor on the left has a 20th-century sash window, all set in lugged raised cement surrounds. To the left of the central doorway is the late 19th-century shopfront, which includes fluted pilasters and pedimented tops, a plate glass window, and a recessed door to the right. The main entrance features a broken pedimented doorcase with composite capitals, panelled reveals, a tracery fanlight, and a six-panel door, which is accessed by three steps.
