Description

Avalon is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble and features an M-shaped pantile roof with a coped verge on the right side of the front span. The building has a symmetrical frontage with two storeys and three bays. The first floor has three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, while the ground floor has tall two-light casements with six panes each. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. Additionally, there is a pentice supported by scrolled wrought-iron brackets.
