Description

Laurels is a house that dates from the late 18th century and was altered and enlarged in the mid 19th century. The building is rendered over rubble and features an asbestos slate roof with coped verges and brick stacks at the gable ends. It has a double pile design and stands two storeys tall with five bays. The windows are 12-pane sash windows, and there is a large tripartite 16-pane sash window inserted in two bays to the left of the central entrance. The entrance is accentuated by a flat-roofed trellis work porch and a panelled door. The house has been extended at the rear.
