Description

Rose Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the north side of The Cliffs in Cheddar. It is constructed of painted rubble and features a double Roman tile roof with two end brick stacks, one of which is rendered. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of five bays. It has 12-pane sash windows, except for the fourth bay on the first floor, which is blank. Two of the first-floor bays have 2-light casements with glazing bars and decorative marginal lights, while the left opening on the ground floor is similar. There are two door openings: to the left is a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed, and to the right is a plank door.
