Description

Cheddar Pottery is a building that consists of two cottages, which have been converted into a pottery and shop. It dates from the early 19th century and features painted rubble and sole brick construction with a pantile roof. The building has three rubble stacks and one single brick stack. It is two storeys high and has five bays, with predominantly 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 4-pane sash windows in the left two bays. The ground floor includes two casements and two sash windows, with the ground floor frontage recessed to the right. The upper floor is supported on two brick piers, and there are two door openings in the recess, both fitted with 20th-century doors.
