Description

Number 4 Catherine Street is a 17th-century building that has been altered and may be even older. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys plus attics, which are topped by two gables. On the first floor and in the attics, there are two sash windows with glazing bars. The mid-19th-century shop front has plain divisions. Originally built as two houses, the property retains two separate staircases with incised risers.
