Description
This is a house located at 8 Warminster Road, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from squared rubble and features a pantile roof with a stone eaves course and a coped verge on the right side. There is a brick ridge stack and an additional brick stack at the rear. The house has two storeys and one bay, with sash windows that have glazing bars set in plain stone surrounds. The door opening is on the right return, which has two bays and similar window features. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed, framed by a plain stone surround and topped with a wooden hood supported by cut stone brackets. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. This building is primarily noted for its group value with number 10 Warminster Road.
