Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Warminster Road in Beckington. It is constructed of dressed coursed and squared rubble with dressed flush quoins, and has a mansard roof. The lower slope of the roof is covered in slate, while the upper portion is tiled with pantiles. Brick stacks rise from the end ridge. The front facade is symmetrical, featuring sash windows with glazing bars set in plain stone surrounds. A small, central, semi-circular headed niche with a keystone is positioned in the centre of the first floor. The central door opening has a plain stone surround, and a six-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed. A tiled, gabled porch, supported by slender wooden columns, provides access.
