Incorrectly marked on OS map as part of No 1 High Street. House and shop, part of the premises of Monks the Newsagents, No 1 High Street (q.v.), C18, with late C19 shopfront. Render, hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, Single bay, at junction of Silver Street and High Street. Sash window with glazing bars, shopfront with slender Corinthian columns. Wrought iron sign bracket. Left return elevation to Silver Street, long 2 bay elevation, sash window with glazing bars and C20 door. Reputedly the Roman Catholic Chapel in early C20.
