Description

This is a house in a row, dating from the later 19th century. It is constructed of ham stone ashlar, with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate, and a brick chimney stack. The property has two storeys and two bays. Above the ground floor, there are simple sash windows set within chamfered openings; the window in the first bay has two lights, while the second bay has a single light, both with square lintels. Below, the first bay has a four-light square bay window with a crenellated parapet to a flat roof. The second bay contains a four-panel door, topped with a divided rectangular fanlight in a plain opening. A short section of spear-point railing extends from the northwest corner of the house, and is set on a low stone wall. The building is included on the list primarily for its contribution to the group value of the varied collection of cottages around the village green.
