Description

No. 57 High Street is a shop with an attached house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from Doulting stone ashlar, with a roof that is not visible behind the parapet and features a brick chimney stack.

The building has three storeys and two bays. It is adorned with panelled pilasters, a moulded cornice, and a plain parapet. The ground floor has a simple shop front, which includes a left-hand door, a green marble stall riser, and a six-fielded-panel door to the right. The upper floors are fitted with 12-pane sash windows that are set in moulded eared architraves.

The interior of the ground floor has been adapted for use as a shop.
